Jeff was one of the first faces I met (albeit, virtually) at eXp Realty, nearly five years ago. He was a beacon of light and a wealth of knowledge to those around him. Respected. Talented. Kind-hearted. Loyal. Hilarious. Determined. These are some of the words that describe him; but they can't do him justice. Colleagues at work, friends outside of work; I appreciate the spirit that is Jeff. We watched each other grow, supporting and rooting one another on along the way, and we helped grow the company to what it is now (you more than me!). Looking forward to honoring you this year at EXPCON. You will be forever missed and never forgotten... all the meaningless conversations, now hold more weight. Thinking of you and all those who love you. Shine bright, Jeff. - JVB
The Buettner’s are our families longest bestest friends. We have so many memories from the time Steph and Jeff were in diapers. We shared in family yardsales, which mostly resulted in Steph and Jeff purchasing each other’s toys (aka, one talking parrot). Every single year we trick or treated together (Pam and I with a margarita of course). And Halloween evolved into some fun adult costumes and parties! The childhood memories for Jeff, Steph, Amber, and Melissa are endless. Hide and seek, go carts, teaching Melissa naughty words, bike riding, dressing up, school projects, Hercules play, so much more! We have had holidays together, cabin trips, game nights (Cranium, Born to be wild!). Most memorable were the times that Pam and I baked togetheir (for about thirty years). Jeff and Steph would help us roll buckeyes (peanut butter balls). They would roll nice perfect balls for about an hour. Then Jeff would take what was left (which was a lot) and roll one huge ball! In all of these years, watching and knowing Jeff’s health issues, you would have never known it. He never complained or declined activities. He always behaved just Like any other kid. We all miss Jeff terribly. Our family grieves for all of you (Pam, Glen, Melissa & Lindsay). Love,
Angie and Bud Karakey
Jeff was just one of those people that was an amazing human being. So kind to everyone he met and giving of his time. Always putting others before him. Such a great entrepreneur at such a young age and wanted to bring everyone along with him. Love you Jeff

Jeff, you will simply never be forgotten. ♥️
✨ You will be so missed Jeff ✨
To list all the memories I have with Jeff seems impossible. Growing up as Melissa’s best friend since first grade, an enormous amount of my childhood memories involve Jeff. He treated me like a little sister, which also meant I got the “brotherly love” that big brothers so often give. Just to name a few, he would steal my favorite stuffed animal and pretended to feed it to their family dog. He also loved to hide the TV remote from Mel and I until we made him food. I will always cherish those memories, even though I may not have loved them at the time. I promise to keep your memory alive by blasting the songs that Mel and I were forced to listen to on repeat while you drove us to school.
As we grew older, we didn’t see each other as much as we did when we were young, but I always knew to expect a text from you in August asking me what you should get Mel for her birthday. I promise to keep that tradition alive by getting her a gift every year from you! Love you Jeffy, to me you will always be the best big bro.
Love your honorary lil sis,
Kara
